Franz Kafka
Franz Kafka (3 July 1883 – 3 June 1924) was a culturally influential German-language author of short stories and novels. Contemporary critics and academics, including Vladimir Nabokov, regard Kafka as one of the best writers of the 20th century. Most of Kafka’s writing, including the large body of his unfinished work, was published posthumously: the Trial.
